Annual report of the American Board of Prosthodontics

The fall examinations were held October 29–31, 2023, at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, CA. Seventy-nine candidates participated in 116 Section B, C, and D examinations. Upon completion of the fall 2023 examination offerings, 29 candidates successfully completed the process and became new Diplomates of the ABP. The spring examinations were held February 25–27, 2024, at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Chicago, IL. One hundred and ten candidates participated in 115 Section B, C, and D examinations. Upon completion of the spring 2024 examination offerings, 21 candidates successfully completed the process and became new Diplomates of the ABP. On April 8, 2024, the Section A written examination was administered to 168 candidates at Pearson Vue testing centers. During this 2023–2024 reporting period, 50 candidates completed the examination process and were certified as diplomates. In December 2023, Dr. Thomas J. Salinas was elected to serve as ABP Director-Elect replacing Dr. Dean Morton, who completed his term as Immediate Past President in November 2024.
