Unseen spaces: inverse psoriasis between the toes
A 6-year-old girl presented with long-standing, erythematous plaques in the interdigital spaces of her toes that were resistant to antifungal and other antimicrobial treatments. The discovery of additional lesions on full-body examination prompted the diagnosis of inverse psoriasis, further supported by a positive family history. After topical treatment with vitamin D analogues, her lesions resolved completely within 8 weeks. Interdigital psoriasis is a rare form of inverse psoriasis and should be considered in cases of resistant interdigital skin lesions, especially with a family history of psoriasis.
