Haematohidrosis

Sudden untimely appearance of blood over the skin without systemic or dermatological diseases may be a frightening experience both for the patient and parents. Haematohidrosis is a rare and scarcely reported entity in which patients sweat blood, usually on account of acute fear, stress or anxiety. Counselling of the patient may underscore potential underlying triggers and unravel the psychocutaneous disorder in select patients.
