CO2 Electroreduction to Long‐Chain Hydrocarbons on Cobalt Catalysts (Adv. Energy Mater. 47/2024)
CO2 Electroreduction In article number 2401447, Núria López, Boon Siang Yeo, Javier Pérez-Ramírez, and co-workers disclose that Co3O4-derived electrocatalysts convert CO2 into C2-C7 hydrocarbons with the highest C-C coupling ability reported, reaching a chain growth probability (α) of 0.54. In situ formed Co-Co3O4 interfaces actively drive this enhanced growth, with short reoxidation cycles preventing loss of activity.
