The influence of hardcore concept in the improvement of the beta decay calculation
This work investigates the impact of incorporating the hard-core concept in nuclear physics on theoretical beta decay calculations. The paper delves into the mathematical formalism employed to integrate this concept. Subsequently, it presents two sets of calculations for the beta decay chain within the [Formula: see text] nucleus using the shell model framework. A comparative analysis is conducted between the obtained results, along with a comparison to experimental data. This analysis aims to elucidate how the inclusion of the hard-core concept refines theoretical predictions for beta decay calculations.
