Relativistic configuration–interaction density functional theory
This paper is about the relativistic configuration–interaction density functional theory and is dedicated to the memory of Thomas T.S. Kuo who has made great contributions to the field of nuclear physics. The relativistic configuration–interaction density functional theory is a novel nuclear many-body method that combines the advantages of the configuration–interaction shell model and the relativistic density functional theory. In this paper, we briefly review its basic concepts and recent applications on nuclear spectroscopic properties, chiral rotation, two-neutrino double-[Formula: see text] decay, and neutrinoless double-[Formula: see text] decay, as well as some perspectives on its future development.
