Dentistry Sustainable Development model as a realization of updated assumptions of Industry 4.0/5.0 in the area of implant-prosthetic treatment
The focus was on the analysis of the contemporary stage of development of Industry 4.0, inextricably linked to the development of materials engineering in the Materials 4.0 stage, requiring the use of increasingly modern materials that meet the requirements for market products to the highest degree and related material process technologies, in accordance with the principle of 6 expectations 6 × E. The author's model of Sustainable Development Dentistry was presented as a polemic with the sometimes presented view regarding the need to abandon interventional dentistry in favor of exclusive and universal dental prophylaxis. In the polemic with the classic model of H. Kagermann, which in fact concerns only the IT aspects of cyber-physical systems, the extensive author's model of Industry Integrated Idea 3 × I 4.0/5.0 was presented. Against this background, the need to use the most advanced technological achievements to develop dental care was stated, which are currently impossible to obtain without using the indicated material and technological achievements. The holistic model of Dentistry Sustainable Development indicates that the stability of the development of dentistry is determined by the even development of prevention and interventional treatment within Dentistry 4.0, which is closely and synergistically dependent on the Integrated Idea of Industry 3 × I 4.0/5.0, as well as an effective system of epidemiological safety of dentists and patients around the world.
