Patient-centric care as a trend in the development of modern healthcare.
Patient-centricity is considered by the international scientific community in modern conditions as a key factor in ensuring high-quality medical care and optimizing the functioning of healthcare. Successful implementation of this approach in everyday medical practice requires a transformation of the forms and nature of interaction between health workers and patients, the need to pay special attention to the active participation of patients in the process of treatment, care and disease prevention. A patient-centric approach requires coordinated actions at various levels of the healthcare system, covering both population groups and individual social communities. The unification of information, preventive, research and public resources of state and private structures involved in the implementation of key public health tasks is a prerequisite for the effective functioning of health care systems focused on the needs of patients.
