Antirabies vaccination protocol in foxes
Rabies is a disease transmitted by the bites of infected animals, and it can be lethal if not treated promptly. By using an attenuated vaccine, fox populations in affected areas are immunized, which limits the transmission of the virus to other animals and humans. This intervention greatly reduces the risk of exposure to rabies, thereby protecting rural and urban communities in the vicinity of these wild animals’ habitats.
