Um estudo sobre atenção plena dos Turistas/Visitantes dos Museus do Forte do Presépio e Arte Sacra, Belém, PA

Exhibition evaluation is critical to museums, providing crucial insights into the interaction between visitors and the exhibited content. Museums are institutions that collect and exhibit the history and culture of different societies and are one of the main tourist attractions. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the interaction of tourists/visitors at the Museum of the Forte do Presépio (MFP) and the Museum of Arte Sacra (MAS) in Belém - PA, based on the theoretical perspectives of mindfulness of Langer (1989), communication factors and visitor factors of Moscardo (2009), and dual processing of Evans (2008). This study adopted a bibliography and field research approach, including direct observation and application of forms to record the data. The results indicate the effectiveness of the communicative and interactive strategies employed at both museums, which induce states of mindfulness in 66% of tourists/visitors. The study also identified the need for improvements in areas such as signage, mediation, and exhibition content design. Finally, this study highlights the importance of exhibition evaluation, drawing attention to the potential of museums to promote mindfulness interactions.
