S/C/L-band Comb Regeneration Enabling Frequency Locked Coherent Detection in MCF Networks
We analyze the performance of optical-frequency comb-based transceivers that use a regenerated comb as a local oscillator, showing three orders of magnitude lower frequency offset variations compared to intradyne detection. We transmit 586x24.5-GBaud PDM-16QAM channels across S/C/L-band, achieving 98 Tb/s per spatial channel.
