Modelling & Simulation of Multi-Path OTAs with Dual Flipped Voltage Follower for VLSI based DSP Applications using 50nm Technology

The article introduces the designing and simulation of Multi-Path Fully Operational Transconductance Amplifiers (OTAs) featuring a Dual Flipped Voltage Follower (DFVF), specifically optimized for VLSI-based digital signal processing (DSP) applications. The design is implemented using 50nm CMOS technology and simulated using Cadence tools. By incorporating multiple signal paths, the proposed OTA architecture improves bandwidth, gain, and linearity, while effectively reducing common-mode noise. The research successfully demonstrates the modeling and simulation of Multi-Path OTAs with DFVF configurations using 50 nm CMOS technology. The results show significant improvements in key performance areas such as bandwidth, gain, linearity, and noise reduction. However, the study also acknowledges some limitations, including the reliance on the 50 nm technology node and the lack of real-world validation. While simulation results are encouraging, further testing is required to validate the OTA’s performance in practical applications. Despite these constraints, the proposed OTA design represents a stable and efficient solution with strong potential for integration into modern VLSI systems, demonstrating its value in high-performance signal processing.
