An Overview and Classification on Beamforming Techniques for 5G Systems
5G technologies have opened a new chapter in the field of connectivity, offering superior speeds, reduced latency, and unprecedented opportunities for a variety of industries. One example is the use of beamforming in 5G systems. Beamforming is a technique that enhances the signal power for individual users and minimizes interference from other users, hence boosting the overall capacity. This paper provides an in-depth review of the classification of beamforming methods that are suitable for 5G systems. Another subject of discussion is beam management, which refers to a sequence of protocols at layers 1 and 2 that are used to create and sustain a set of connections between two beams.
