Diffuser-Based LIDAR Signal Acquisition for Fast and Compact All-Optical Target Simulators

We present a novel approach for all-optical LIDAR signal acquisition over a large field of view, which enables fast and compact LIDAR target simulators. Our diffuser and fast-steering mirror-based setup supports a field of view of at least ±35° with roughly 2° resolution.

Abstract

We present a novel approach for all-optical LIDAR signal acquisition over a large field of view, which enables fast and compact LIDAR target simulators. Our diffuser and fast-steering mirror-based setup supports a field of view of at least ±35° with roughly 2° resolution.
