100Gb/s High-Speed Electroabsorption modulator (EAM) integrated Semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA)

The cascaded integration of multiple electroabsorption modulators (EAM) and multiple semiconductor optical amplifiers (SOA) has been utilized for generating high-speed optical data transmission with gain, achieving >10dB optical gain, >10dB optical extinction ratio, >65GHz electrical-to-optical response, and 100Gb/s PAM-4 modulation.
