InAlGaN laser diodes with integrated waveguides for application in photonic integrated circuits

In this work, we demonstrate InAlGaN laser diodes with monolithically integrated InAlGaN waveguides. This concept can be used both as a base of homogeneously integrated photonic systems or as an advanced single-chip light source combining emission of several laser diodes.

Abstract

In this work, we demonstrate InAlGaN laser diodes with monolithically integrated InAlGaN waveguides. This concept can be used both as a base of homogeneously integrated photonic systems or as an advanced single-chip light source combining emission of several laser diodes.
