A Study on the Acquisition of Triphthong Vowels by Altaic Chinese Learners Under the ‘Belt and Road’ Initiative
This research delves into the acquisition of triphthongs by Uzbek learners of standard Chinese within the context of the ‘Belt and Road’ Initiative. Employing acoustic analysis, duration assessment, and discrete rate measurements, the study uncovers the variances in formant patterns, phoneme ratios, and articulation stability between Uzbek learners and native Chinese speakers. The findings pinpoint specific areas where learners' pronunciation significantly diverges, providing targeted recommendations for standard Chinese pedagogy to address these pronunciation discrepancies and enhance linguistic proficiency among Altaic language background learners.
