Characterization of Two-Dimensional Dynamic Scanning With Electrowetting Tunable Prisms

We demonstrate dynamic characterization and optimization of a two-dimensional raster scan using an electrowetting tunable prism. A parametric sweep and voltage shaping is performed using computational fluid dynamics and verified experimentally by analyzing the displacement and velocity of the beam centroid position.

Abstract

We demonstrate dynamic characterization and optimization of a two-dimensional raster scan using an electrowetting tunable prism. A parametric sweep and voltage shaping is performed using computational fluid dynamics and verified experimentally by analyzing the displacement and velocity of the beam centroid position.
