Broadband and high-gain continuous-wave parametric amplification in a Gallium Phosphide waveguide

We demonstrate the first broadband and high gain third-order parametric optical amplifier in a 5.5 cm long GaP waveguide spiral with up to 25 dB net gain off-chip and more than 10 dB amplification over a bandwidth of 140 nm.
