AIoT-based Power Monitoring and Energy Conservation System

This paper presents an Artificial Intelligence of Things-based power monitoring and energy conservation system that utilizes a mobile application for real-time monitoring and control of household appliances. The existing system offers IoT-based monitoring and control but lacks integrated tariff calculation, fault, and anomaly detection in a unified solution. Consequently, we built a system that combines all the functionalities into one cohesive structure. The system uses the Isolation Forest algorithm for anomaly detection, trained on historical energy data to identify inefficiencies. The remote control feature allows users to conveniently manage energy consumption through a mobile app. In conclusion, this approach not only helps lower energy expenses but also promotes sustainable practices, making it a valuable tool for efficient energy management.
