Monolithic Integrated 2D Micro-Lens Array Design with High-Speed 2D-Photodetector Array

We present the design of an integrated 2-dimensional (2D) microlens array with a high-speed 2D-PD array to mitigate the photocurrent distribution in the N × N photodetector array for free space optical communication application. The design and its simulation results are discussed.
