Thin-Film GaSb/GaAs Quantum Nanostructure Solar Cells with Light Trapping

We have studied GaSb/GaAs quantum rings (QRs) for possible use in high-efficiency intermediate-band solar cells (IBSCs). The effect of using stacked QR layers with a Fabry-Perot light trapping in thin-film structure has been investigated to enhance light absorption.

Abstract

We have studied GaSb/GaAs quantum rings (QRs) for possible use in high-efficiency intermediate-band solar cells (IBSCs). The effect of using stacked QR layers with a Fabry-Perot light trapping in thin-film structure has been investigated to enhance light absorption.
