Multi-agent event triggering in a limited time high-speed train group coordinated cruise control

In order to solve the problems of large communication load between agents and long response time of the system in highspeed train group cooperative control, this paper comes up with a multi-agent limited-time co-operative cruise control algorithm based on event triggering. Firstly, on the basis of characteristics of high-speed train and agents, the train as an agent, established the EMU 3 order dynamic model. Secondly, an event-triggered multi-intelligence body finite-time cooperative control protocol is designed, which proves to be able to realize cooperative cruising in a finite time, significantly shortening the tracking distance between trains without Zeno behaviour. Eventually, the validity of the proposed algorithm is examined by MATLAB emulation. The simulation results show that the train group can track the predefined speed and trajectory in finite time, and reduced the communication between trains and improved the passing capacity of railway lines. Compared to the conventional control methods, the train tracking time is decreased by 87.5% under the circumstance of communication reduction.
