Optimizing fresh food delivery routes for cost reduction and green logistics
Optimizing delivery routes to reduce costs and enhance efficiency is increasingly important. This study establishes a suitable mathematical model and uses an enhanced Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) algorithm to optimize fresh food delivery routes, considering efficiency, quality, and green logistics. To align with real-world scenarios, there has several constraints, like vehicle load, battery limits, and time windows. Using MATLAB and PYTHON to do the case analysis, the research suggests optimal fleet ratios for different regions, providing cost-effective and sustainable delivery solutions for fresh agricultural products.
