. Evaluarea stării ecochimice a unor ape de suprafață din bazinul hidrografic al fluviului Nistru

The study evaluates the eco-chemical status of five aquatic objects in the Dniester River basin by monitoring the seasonal content of thiolic compounds from 2020 to 2023. Throughout the monitoring period, the content of thiols varied within the range of 10-6 M, which is a typical concentration for this type of natural waters. The experimental data indicate a natural origin for the thiolic compounds in all water bodies, with maximum concentrations recorded in summer when biological productivity is at its peak, and lower concentrations in spring and autumn. Additionally, the negative influence of the tributaries of the Dniester River, specifically the Raut and Ichel rivers, was established, as they directly contribute to reducing the intensity of the self-purification processes in the Dniester waters during spring and autumn.
