ЗООГЕОГРАФИЧЕСКИЙ СОСТАВ ЗООБЕНТОСА ЗАПОВЕДНИКА «ЯГОРЛЫК»
The zoogeographic composition of zoobenthos in the “Yagorlyk” reserve is studied. The research revealed that out of 71 species found in the samples, 58 belong to the Palearctic, and 13 - to the Ponto-Caspian complex. The identified taxa include oligochaetes, leeches, mysids, gammarids, and bivalve mollusks. Symbiotic relationships, such as the interaction of amphipods with the mollusk Dreissena polymorpha, were also noted in the ecosystem. At the same time, North American and Southeast Asian species were absent in the benthic samples. The author points out ecological challenges, including the silting of the reservoir, which adversely affects the distribution of certain species, such as Dreissena polymorpha.
