The article contains materials with reference to the basic parameters, fundamental in the cultivation technology of the Siberian sturgeon Acipenser baerii in a recirculating system, such as temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH and water quality. The calculation and estimation of the production of TAN (total ammoniacal nitrogen), the final result of the transformation of proteins, allows an effective monitoring of the volume of water, the amount of food administered and the efficiency of the biological processes of nitrification in a recirculating system intended for the growth of the Acipenser baerii species. The importance of these systems lies in their ability to make resource use more efficient, reducing water and land consumption, minimizing pollution and disease transmission risks, and facilitating sustainable and economic fish production
