SPREADING OF THE BLUE BREAM BALLERUS BALLTTRUS (L. 1758) IN THE KUCHURGAN RESERVOIR

Blue bream (Ballerus ballttrus) was first recorded in the Kuchurgan reservoir since its transformation into a cooling reservoir of the Moldavian GRES. Blue bream got into the reservoir, most likely as a result of stocking by the Ukrainian side. Further research is needed, which should be aimed at studying the biology of blue bream and the dynamics of its population increase in a cooling reservoir, as well as ways to preserve it.
