SOME DATA ON THE CURRENT COMPOSITION OF THE HIGHER AQUATIC VEGETATION OF THE BACKWATERS OF THE YAGORLYK RESERVE

As a result of research in the summer-autumn of 2024, 15 species of macrophytes were noted in the Yagorlyk backwater - 6 helophytes (Phragmites australis, Typha latifolia, Typha angustifolia, Butomus umbellatus, Iris pseudacorus and Acorus calamus), 4 floating hydrophytes (Lemna minor, Nymphaea alba, Trapa natans, Nymphoides peltata) and 5 species of submerged hydrophytes (Ceratophyllum demersum, Najas marina, Vallisneria spiralis, Potamogeton perfoliatus and Potamogeton lucens). Сommon reed and Typha dominate the overgrowth of the coastal zone, Ceratophyllum demersum and Najas marina reach mass development in the water area
