Process Flowchart As A Project Strategy Based on The Organizational Structure of The Bim Methodology

Objective: Develop a project that includes the BIM methodology, in collaboration with all members of a team with specific roles; thus, centralizing the information in a digital model created by each area with the objective of visualizing, planning and coordinating all the data in a collaborative environment, thus reducing errors and increasing the life cycle of the project. Theoretical Framework: This topic presents the main concepts and theories that support the research, such as BIM Management, project process flowcharts, project analysis and evaluation, and BIM organizational structure. What happens in the following designation of theoretical goals: Optimization of times in the design and management of the project, efficient management of the resources necessary in construction and the maintenance required later. Being able to visualize the structure in pre-construction, thanks to simulations and 3D modeling, giving the possibility of making modifications before construction to take advantage of spaces and materials. Detection of safety and crash problems in the structure. Preventing MEP conflict and physical risks during construction. Obtain an estimate of the costs of a work, as well as the number of materials that we must use, making the work more efficient and carry out an analysis through the 4D dimensions that confer the work planning and 5D that helps us with the measurement and budget of the work. Method: The methodology adopted for this research is qualitative, making a systemic review of architectural projects and their weaknesses and shortcomings in the design phase as an initial stage, systematically analyzing the execution phase, establishing a parameter of factors that affect the process flow of the project, thus developing a predictive design model. The survey is used as a tool to review the engineering branches involved in an architectural project to know the reality of the traditional construction scheme and promote effective solutions to the constructive reality of the projects. Results and Discussion: The results obtained revealed that the use of an organizational structure within the BIM methodology promotes a systematized design process and reduces the number of errors evidenced in the design and execution phases of projects. As a case study, the Airos building has maximized its resilience capacity by adopting sustainability standards, which reduces energy consumption and increases the bioclimatic capacity of the building. Research Implications: The theoretical implications of the BIM organizational structure are discussed and whether the convenience of process designation improves the quality of the project with collaborative work within the design processes, demonstrating that its contribution reduces error and expands the capacity for resilience and execution. Satisfactory of projects. Originality/Value: This study contributes to the BIM literature as part of a methodology that can propose that a work structure based on articulated process flowcharts can be converted into an architectural project strategy.
