A Engenharia Didática como metodologia para a construção do conceito de área no Ensino Médio

The aim of this work is to develop the concepts of areas of flat figures through a didactic sequence guided by the Didactic Engineering methodology, using GeoGebra, the history of mathematics and local culture related to the artisanal production of fillet embroidery as global variables. The sequence will be made up of four problems that have been developed according to analyses of textbooks and the application of a diagnostic activity. A practical activity was applied with the aim of relating formal mathematics with the intuitive mathematics practiced in Ethnomathematics using knowledge used by artisans.
