Les annales parlementaires de la Roumanie – le texte en tant que migrant
In any translation, several levels are assumed to mutually intertwine, in order to achieve optimal communication: on the one hand, a general level, abstract and impersonal, in which grammar (morphology and syntax) and lexicon are incorporated, on the other hand, a particular level, of concrete action, in which, first of all, stylistics and pragmatics are manifested, having a given statement at its core of attention. The texts collected in the Parliamentary Annals of Romania offer an extremely rich and interesting material that sheds light not only on the history of the Romanian language, but also on the complexity of translation, which involves a journey from the abstract to the concrete, from language to communication, from word to text. The present work focuses on lexical aspects (neologisms, the cliché phenomenon, the re-semantization) on which a functional style, i.e. a certain genre of discourse in the Bakhtinian sense, is gradually built.
