THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL CONTRIBUTION OF I.V. SUKHOV INTO THE TECHNOLOGY FOR CREATION OF FOREST CROPS

The article is dedicated to the memory of Associate Professor Ivan Vasilyevich Sukhov, a leading specialist in the field of creating oak crops in felled areas. He left behind experiments in the forest; under his leadership, about 100 hectares of forest crops were created, which are the basis for educational practices for students, research for graduate students and an example for forestry producers. I.V. Sukhov trained 185 certified forestry specialists, published 6 textbooks, copyright certificates for inventions, and recommendations for artificial reforestation of oak forests.
