ON THE PROBLEM OF TRAINING FOREIGN STUDENTS IN RUSSIAN UNIVERSITIES

The article examines the ethnopsychological characteristics of foreign students, ignorance of which causes difficulties in organizing an effective educational process in multicultural student groups and students' mastery of educational programs. The author shows that a solution to this problem is possible provided that the teacher has multicultural competence, the targeted formation and development of which can be carried out within the framework of specially organized advanced training courses.
