The hybrid war of the collective West against the Russian world is manifested, among other things, in the rewriting of history and the imposition of false meanings of the past on the younger generation. This is especially evident in the education system of Ukraine and the Baltic countries. The task of Russian teachers is to help pupils comprehend the true meanings of Russian history and thus contribute to the formation of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values. It is shown, that formation of emotional and value relations of schoolchildren to the history of the Fatherland is clearly connected with interiorization of means of the historical events and processes. The definition is given and the structure of the category "emotional-value attitude of personality" as a unity of cognitive, emotional and motivational-volitional components is shown. The types of emotional and value relationships of a personality are presented, which are actualized and brought up in the process of learning history, namely: cognitive, moral and aesthetic. The ways of their actualization by defining the specific historical, moral, aesthetic meanings of historical events, phenomena, and processes are shown.

The article considers the need to educate children and youth in axiological consciousness by means of a school course in the history of the Fatherland. The relevance of the research is due to the geopolitical and socio-cultural challenges faced by Russian society at the present stage.
