COMBATENDO A HESITAÇÃO VACINAL EM PAIS: ESTRATÉGIAS PARA MELHORAR A ADESÃO ÀS VACINAS INFANTIS

Among the many challenges faced by immunization campaigns, one of the most significant is parental refusal to vaccinate their children. This study aimed to identify and assess intervention measures in the literature to increase adherence to childhood vaccination and immunization rates by addressing parental hesitancy. An integrative review was conducted using BVS, PubMed, and Periódicos da CAPES databases, filtering for English, Portuguese, and Spanish publications, up to 2023. Seventeen articles were selected, covering narrative communication, educational strategies for parents and healthcare professionals, and technological tools. While many interventions proved effective, consensus and methodological rigor remain limited.
