The article deals with the issue of formation of the military professional culture of future officers, with a special emphasis on the social and humanitarian component. The military professional culture is considered as a leading component of the training of future officers, which ensures the formation of not only professional skills, but also social and humanitarian values necessary for the effective performance of official duties. The importance of moral and ethical upbringing, civic responsibility, patriotism and the development of social skills in the training of military personnel is emphasized. The presented approach is based on the principles of unity of theory and practice, complexity, individual approach and continuity in the formation of professional culture. The systemic approach proposed in the article ensures the training of officers capable to perform service tasks effectively in the context of modern military challenges, in particular in the context of modern military operations.
