Genre classification of student mobile video created in Russian as a foreign language classes

The research aims to describe and classify “units of the learning process” created by foreign learners in Russian language classes based on universal parameters. The article examines a possible categorization of creative video products created by foreign medical students within a new technology during Russian language classes and extracurricular activities. The research novelty lies in the first-ever proposed description and classification of video products created by foreign students preparing for clinical practice using a scientifically-grounded technology for constructing student mobile video. As a result of describing and specifying creative video products, the authors propose a linguodidactic genre classification based on the degree of realism or surrealism of the material underlying the student mobile video.
