Research and Verification of Resonant Deicing Mechanism on Distribution Lines
In order to solve the problem of ice and snow on distribution lines in winter, a resonant deicing method for distribution lines was proposed, and the simulation and experiment were carried out. Firstly, the finite element analysis software ABAQUS was used to conduct modal analysis of the 5mm, 8mm and 10mm ice-coated thickness conductor, and the natural frequencies of each order of ice-coated conductor were obtained. Secondly, the deadweight model simulation of the icing wire was carried out. Finally, the external excitation resonant frequency required for deicing was determined according to the equivalent stress and natural frequency, and the excitation simulation under different icing thickness was completed. Based on the simulation, a vibration deicing device based on resonant deicing mechanism is designed and developed, and the deicing experiment is carried out on the simulated conductor. The experimental results show that the deicing frequency is close to the simulation results, which realizes real-time monitoring of the icing thickness and control of the vibration deicing device to meet the deicing requirements of distribution lines.
