Design of Priority Driving Scheme for Nuclear Power Plant Protection System Based on DCS Architecture
CIM (Component Interface Module) is an important part of nuclear power plant protection system. Its main function is to drive the safety level actuator action after prioritizing automatic or manual commands from different safety levels, so as to complete specific safety functions. Through in-depth research on the overall architecture of DCS (Digital Control System) of ACPR1000 nuclear power unit and the transmission path of safety-level actuator drive instructions in DCS architecture, the defects of safety-level actuator controlled by NC-VDU(Non-Classified Visual Display Unit) call screen mode in existing design are summarized, and the design idea of using NC-VDU to directly control safety-level actuator is proposed. Based on the design idea, the priority driver scheme of CIM is designed. This design simplifies the operator monitoring means and the equipment size of the MCR (Main Control Room), while significantly reducing the cost, and provides a reference for the design of the compact layout of the MCR.
