Simulation of Transient Electromagnetic Radiation During the Switching Operation of Low Voltage Circuit Breaker
This paper establishes a simulation model for low-voltage circuit breakers, aiming to explore the electromagnetic radiation problem during the switching operation of low-voltage circuit breakers. For the convenience of research, the model was simplified within a feasible range and a half wave dipole antenna model was established. Different high-frequency currents were applied to the model to simulate the electromagnetic radiation field of circuit breakers during the switching operation under different operating conditions. The maximum of high frequency electric field strength is more than 30kV/m and the maximum of high frequency magnetic field strength is more than 100A/m. Comparing the simulation results with the experimental results, it can be found that the error is within a reasonable range. This result indicates that the high-frequency radiation model and simulation results established in this article can reflect the near-field electromagnetic field of the circuit breaker.
