Research on the Electric Field Distribution Characteristics of Submarine DC Cable in Offshore Wind Power System
Since submarine cables do not require the construction of special bridges or tunnels, which may fulfil the demands of the large-scale open-sea energy transmission. Moreover, DC systems have the advantages of high capacity, low loss, long transmission distance, etc., which are the focus of the future development of offshore wind power transmission technology. This paper aims to research on the electric field distribution characteristics of submarine dc cable in offshore wind power system. In this paper, the simulation model of the submarine DC cable is established. In this simulation model, the full-scale space charge distribution characteristics of the submarine DC cable and soft joint were studied, and the electric field intensity distribution characteristics inside the cable joint under different working conditions were studied, laying the foundation for further structural design of high-reliability submarine DC cables.
