Construction and Application of a Power Safety Incident Evaluation System Based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP)

Power safety production not only affects the safe and stable operation of the power grid but also relates to the stability of national energy supply and the reliability of electricity for the general public. However, there is currently limited research on power safety evaluation. To address this issue, this paper explores the influence of multiple factors on power safety incident evaluation and constructs a power safety incident evaluation model. First, nine evaluation indicators were identified from three dimensions: incident reporting, impact consequences and handling, and incident investigation, which serve as parameters for the power safety incident evaluation model. Next, the impact of each evaluation indicator on the power safety incident evaluation system was analyzed using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Subsequently, each indicator was quantified, and their weights were determined to achieve power safety incident evaluation. The system was then applied to evaluate three incidents that occurred this year: the burnout of a main transformer, the burnout of a current transformer, and the burnout of a high-voltage reactor. By comparing the weighted scores of these incidents, the results demonstrated that the evaluation system could effectively assess power safety incidents.

By comparing the weighted scores of these incidents, the results demonstrated that the evaluation system could effectively assess power safety incidents.
