Power Hardware-in-the-Loop Testing of a Data-Driven Multi-Ancillary Services Framework Provided by Photovoltaic/Storage Units
The scope of this paper is to test a multi-ancillary services architecture provided by distributed photovoltaic-battery storage systems with power hardware-in-the-loop (PHiL) experimental validation. The examined ancillary services are provided to overcome voltage violation and voltage unbalance issues. A distinct feature of the proposed solution is the efficient decoupling between the voltage regulation and the voltage unbalance mitigation control schemes. The PHiL study reflects a small distribution network test case and offers a good insight and evaluation of the proposed ancillary services architecture.
