Design of Cloud-Based Smart Meters and Optimization of Information and Energy Flow
The integration of smart grid technologies offers transformative opportunities for power system upgrades by merging traditional power infrastructures with advanced energy, information, and communication technologies. This integration aims to achieve efficient power distribution and optimized utilization. However, challenges such as maintaining power supply-demand equilibrium, ensuring grid security, and improving data processing efficiency persist. To address these issues, this paper proposes an innovative cloud-based smart grid architecture. The proposed architecture stratifies the grid into three layers: the cloud layer, the intermediate layer, and the user layer, facilitating efficient interaction and management of both information flow and energy flow. By employing this architecture, the paper develops a smart system capable of effectively processing multi-source heterogeneous data, optimizing supply-demand balance, and enhancing grid security. This approach significantly improves the efficiency and accuracy of power data processing, fortifies system security and stability, and establishes a robust technical foundation for the future advancement of smart grids.
