Grid-Forming Control Strategy of Photovoltaic-Energy Storage Based on Multi-Constraint Conditions
As the integration of renewable energy sources becomes more prevalent, the operation and control of power systems are facing unprecedented challenges. This paper addresses the issue of frequency fluctuations within photovoltaic-storage grid-connected systems by proposing an enhanced grid-forming control strategy that operates under a variety of constraints. The strategy involves the dynamic adjustment of the inertia time constant based on real-time monitoring of the energy storage system's state of charge and solar irradiance levels, thereby achieving dynamic optimization of the system's inertial characteristics. The effectiveness of the proposed enhanced grid-forming control strategy was confirmed through simulations conducted on the Simulink platform. The results of these experiments demonstrate that the new strategy significantly outperforms traditional grid-forming control methods in terms of frequency stability and dynamic response, particularly under varying lighting conditions and fluctuations in the state of charge.
