Novel Frequency Control Strategy for Photovoltaic Storage Power Stations in Electric Power Systems Based on Model Predictive Control
This paper proposes a new frequency regulation control strategy for photovoltaic and energy storage stations within new power systems based on Model Predictive Control (MPC). This control strategy aims to minimize the sum of system frequency deviation and the rate of change of frequency and optimizes the active power output of the stations and participates in system frequency regulation through the control of their active output. Finally, simulation examples demonstrate that the proposed method offers superior frequency regulation and quickly and precisely determine the output of photovoltaic and energy storage stations under multiple constraints, thus enhancing the system's frequency stability.
