Optimized Scheduling of an Integrated Energy System with Multiple Types of Electrolytic Cells
The hydrogen-containing integrated energy system is an important component of the new power system, and the joint optimization between multiple types of electrolytic cells and randomly fluctuating renewable energy is the key to improving the system performance. In this paper, we propose an optimal scheduling strategy for an electric-hydrogen-thermal coupled integrated energy system considering multiple types of electrolytic cells. The model of alkaline and proton exchange membrane water electrolytic cells is established, and the Gurobi solver is used to solve the comprehensive cost of the system and to minimise the comprehensive cost of the system. The verification of the modified IEEE39-node power system and 6-node thermal system shows that the operation characteristics of different electrolytic cells can further promote the consumption of renewable energy, effectively improve the energy efficiency of the hydrogen production system and reduce the overall cost of the system.
