Comparative Analysis of Isolated Three-Port DC-DC Converters Based on Steady-State Operation
To assemble various renewable energy sources and the energy storage system, multiport bidirectional DC-DC converters take a significant role in current power system. Four proposed isolated bidirectional three-port DC-DC converters derived from dual-active-bridge (DAB) converter are analysed in this paper. The derivation principles of four proposed topologies are introduced in this paper followed by the steady-state operation analysis. The operation characteristics of the topologies are investigated and illustrated comparatively based on the steady-state operation waveforms, voltage and current characteristic, fault current clear and imbalanced output capability, and the converter worst power rating.
