Two-Layer Distributed Control for Interconnected Microgrid Clusters Based on Linear Active Disturbance Rejection
Electrical energy router (EER) has emerged as a novel solution for interconnecting multiple microgrids (MGs) due to their ability to provide multi-directional power control. However, the frequency and voltage decoupling between microgrids hinders the realization of flexible power distribution. Moreover, existing control methods struggle to meet the diverse and reliable operational requirements of the system. In this paper, a two-layer distributed cooperative control scheme for EER-interconnected microgrid cluster (MGC) is proposed, which combines the pinning consensus algorithm and linear active disturbance rejection control. The MGC-layer and MG-layer are introduced by extracting the consistency inequality of each distributed generation (DG) output and its corresponding derivative, respectively. On the one hand, the EER transmission power reference is dynamically generated to achieve global power sharing through the information interaction of each pinned DG. On the other hand, each unpinned DG achieves frequency and average voltage restoration, as well as power sharing within each MG through synchronization and tracking. Simulation verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method and mitigates the adverse effects of uncertainties and disturbances on the system.
